Henryka Amber & Silver Jewellery – A Review

I was delighted when I was offered the chance to review a piece of amber jewellery, from Hereford based company Henryka Amber & Silver Jewellery.

Henryka source their amber from the renowned Polish Baltic coast, and is a member of the International Amber Association; making the company a certified supplier of genuine Baltic amber. When the product arrived, the quality was apparent immediately. The jewellery was presented in a beautiful blue box, and I was delighted when I opened it to reveal a pair of handmade pearl and amber earrings.

The pearl & amber combination is just lovely, and the rest of the collection can be viewed here – Bridal Collection.  Prices range from £28.00-£58.00 in this particular collection. The earrings I received retail for £45.00. There is a huge selection of rings, pendants and various sets of earrings to choose from.

The earrings that I tried were made from silver, amber and pearl;

“Delicate silver surrounds a marquise shaped cognac amber piece. With a white pearl resting below the amber on a free moving silver bar.”

The jewellery has been hand crafted, and is finished with great detail. The earrings feel durable, comfortable yet delicate.

Henryka do not just sell their jewellery on a commercial basis; they are also firm supporters of The Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides wigs to children suffering from hair loss (a common side effect of cancer treatment). They have a specific collection where ALL profits go straight to the charity to support their vital work. Take a look at the Princess Trust Collection.

Amber offers a nice alternative for your jewellery and Henryka also combines it with Turquoise and Black Oak, creating very different effects.
