I hosted the second Vintage Wedding Fayre at Devonport Guildhall on Sunday 7th October 2012, and I thought I’d share a selection of the pictures taken by our lovely exhibitors throughout the day.
We were lucky enough to be joined by some lovely designers from Cornwall. Kit’s Boutique are based in Falmouth, and not only offer beautiful vintage homewares and accessories, but also bridal wear and wedding hire items too.
Kitty is extremely talented; her wedding dresses are perfect for brides wanting something a bit different, and above all; unique. You can find more information on Kit and details on the locations of her shops, please visit the website here – http://www.kitsboutique.com and find her on Facebook.
Also a big thank you to Devon Vintage China for supplying the beautiful white lace bunting in the image below.
Next door to Kit was Annalise Harvey. Another talented Cornish designer based in Truro, Annie is currently working on her Spring/Summer Collection for next year, and we were lucky enough to get a sneaky peek yesterday at the fayre. I think you’ll agree that the pieces are truly stunning.
The new collection will be available to purchase soon but if you’re struggling to find your perfect wedding dress, you can also commission Annie to make a bespoke gown for you. Please visit the website http://www.annaliseharvey.com/ and you can also find Annie on Facebook.
Annie shared her stall with Holly Young Hats, who works from the same set of studios in Truro. Holly is doing extremely well, and you can find lots more information on her products in the featured supplier post I published over the weekend.
Lovely Day Cakes also exhibited and is run by Julie Symons. Julie has been making cakes for over thirty years but is now offering her services on a more regular external basis. If you want a truly lovely day, then this is the cake company for you. You can find Julie on Facebook and you can send an email to email@example.com. Julie also makes handmade embellished cards.
Meadowsweet Vintage were also in attendance on the day, and Natalie always put together a beautiful display of her hire items. You can take a look at the range, and see more details on event styling services on the website – http://www.meadowsweetvintage.co.uk
Faithful Designs is run by the fabulous Danielle Donnelly who took two exhibition tables this year to display her lovely hire items. Danielle offers chair covers with a range of sashes, wish trees, sweetie jars, accessories, and also has a range of bespoke stationery. She also supplied her light curtain for us which framed the stage beautifully. Please visit http://www.faithfuldesigns.co.uk/ for more information.
With A Flourish are based in Plymouth and were kind enough to decorate the venue for us with their silk flower displays. The flowers on the stage above are from Flourish. They also put together a beautiful display which can be seen below. You can find more info on Flourish’s website – http://www.withaflourish.co.uk/
Sharon Mesher also attended again this time, and her table display was just beautiful. I would highly recommend using Sharon for your wedding flowers; she is extremely talented, and a delight to work with.
